Latino Literature at the 2016 MLA

MLA 2016 – Forms & Feelings of Latina/o Literature

This is a call for papers for a special panel at the Modern Language Association’s 2016 conference in Austin, Texas. The subject is how Latina/o literature has long evaded genre classification, mingling fiction, poetry, history, memoir, ethnography, and visual representation. What is captured? Soul? Spirit? Community?
